TRACKS 2000
Sunday August 20, Tracks 2000 will host "Fast Forward Fashion Show" featuring futuristic party clothing from local designers Scaredy Cat and Xorussi design. Go-Go took a look backstage at the first of three shows to give you a dose of what you will be seeing at Tracks 2000, the grand finale in the series. Xorussi calls their designs "Fast Forward Fashion over Function," while Scaredy Cat designs their cloth-ing to be "Experimentally Unrestricted and Functuristic." MC-ing the event will be local favorite Orange Peel Moses with a special guest DJ. "Fast Forward Fashion Show" prom-ises to break the rules and enter-tain. Each designer brings his or her unique vision to the stage with a variety of clubwear that is definitely head-turning. The models are a breed apart as well. Energetic and with-out pretence, each gives an individual twist to the party style while interacting with the audience. Look for a few surprises as well from Piece of Mind who will be making a spe-cial appearance. Hair will be done by Jessica Jude of Oxford Spa and Salon. Make-up will be by freelance artist Janelle with Jessica Jude. The doors will open at 5 p. m., the show will start at 11 p. m. Admission is free until 8 p. m.
