Dear Stephanie,
What the hell is up with the female race?
The last two girls I have hooked up with have had
the pubic hair of a '70s nudie mag. I'm talking
bush for days. Is this a new trend with women
in their 20s and 30s? If so, please make it stop!
There's nothing worse than gagging on some
renegade pubic hair while desperately trying to
get her off.
--Smooth Operator
Dear Smooth Operator,
I don't think there is or will ever be such a hair
raising trend, especially with women in that age
group. There are just too many current fashions,
such as tiny bikinis and thongs, that keep most
coif-conscious women fur-free, at least in the
obvious areas. Occasionally, you might find a girl
in her 20s with massive foliage south of the border,
but chances are she is from Europe or is waiting
for enough growth to wax it off. On the other hand,
when you get into the higher age brackets, bush
whacking is much more foreign. I belong to a gym
that mostly consists of professional baby boomers
and just the sight of them naked in the locker room
makes me want to call in the lawn boy with his
weedwhacker.
As far as what's up with the female race, I would have to say there is a trend that you may have overlooked. And that is that women are beginning to hold men to the same strict standards they have held us to for so long. Why is it fair for men to be constantly complaining about the smoothness of a woman's nether regions, when eight times out of 10 said man possesses the consistency of a brillo between his own hypocritical legs? Most of my girlfriends agree--when it comes to the election of shorn privates, let's keep bush off the ballot.
For those of you who are interested in shedding a few hairs, here is a safe and effective way to shave it off. . .
1. If you have long pubic hairs, trim hair with clippers or scissors. Electric clippers are best for this, but either way, trim it very short. You will end up with one hell of a mess and razor burn if you try to shave long and curly pubic hairs.
2. Take a long, warm bath to let the area soak and soften.
3. Before applying shaving cream, rinse area with cool water.
4. Apply shaving cream a few minutes before shaving to further soften hairs. It helps to use a shaving cream with additional conditioners or aloe. Don't use soap, which will be too drying.
5. Make sure you are using a new blade or razor. Sometimes you may even need two, depending on the size of area you are shaving.
6. When shaving, stroke an area no more than twice to reduce skin irritation. On the first stroke, go in the direction the hair grows to remove most of the hair, then go the opposite direction of growth for a smooth, close shave. Use slow, smooth strokes to avoid cuts.
7. Be sure to clean the area afterwards with soap and water to reduce the risk of infection.
8. Some people find daily application of baby powder or talcum powder especially helpful after shaving to keep the area dry and irritation-free. Neosporin is also very effective and helps to reduce red bumps.
9. Wash the area at least once a day to reduce sweat and oil buildup. (Do I really need to tell you this?)
10. Shave at least every other day to keep the area free of stubble. Remember, when it starts to grow back it can itch, and Neosporin will help prevent this.
Don't forget about sharing this experience with your partner. Shaving each other can be very exciting and interesting foreplay. And let's not forget how much more pleasant the art of oral sex can be on a baby-soft canvas.
